LCCNET, a domestic company specializing in computer education and training, recently partnered with the online job platform 104 on a project and has been heavily advertising on TV. In the commercial the agency designed a new slogan that says: “One out of every two people successfully finds employment.”

Oh my! I really want to know which advertising agency their project manager hired to design the case, because they actually presented the data in such a blatant way.

Whether this figure is a real statistic or merely an infinitely close approximation, the commercial has indeed strictly defined our impression as viewers: “one half.”

Defining the data itself is actually a very frightening act.

“One half” — besides the subconscious fear we’ve had since our student days (laughs) — also means that out of every 1,000 students who study at LCCNET, as many as 500 end up unemployed and unable to find work!?

“One half” also means that 50% of the people who paid tuition never achieved the expected results. And if this project also receives government subsidies, it means half of us taxpayers’ hard-earned money produced no real benefit.

By the end, I still really want to know: which advertising company did LCCNET and 104 actually hire to handle this case?
