EVA Air has newly announced that, in view of the impact of the latest entry regulations adopted by the Philippine government in response to the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV, commonly known as the Wuhan virus), EVA Air will adjust its flights to and from the Philippines according to market demand. Originally flying 3 flights daily from Taipei to Manila, it will reduce this to 2 flights daily from the 12th until February 18.

In this flight reduction, the canceled flights are BR277 and BR278 between Taipei and Manila. The remaining Taipei–Cebu and Taipei–Manila flights still maintain normal takeoffs and landings.

EVA Air stated that it will provide services waiving the service fee for rebooking and refunding tickets for passengers traveling to the Philippines. Passengers can handle this on the official website or by contacting the EVA Air reservation and ticketing center. For individual or group tickets purchased through a travel agency, assistance must be obtained from the original ticketing travel agency.

For EVA Air’s latest flight changes and refund/rebooking regulations, passengers are requested to check the “Wuhan Novel Coronavirus Information Section” on the EVA Air official website, or call the “EVA Air Customer Service Hotline” for assistance.
