SpongeBob SquarePants: 'Oh! Krusty Krab' Song Lyrics & Background

Within the animated universe of SpongeBob SquarePants, few musical numbers are as iconic and hilarious as “Oh! Krusty Krab”. Written by storyboard artist and writer Luke Brookshier, the song is performed by SpongeBob himself (voiced by Tom Kenny) as a dramatic ode to his beloved workplace and culinary paradise.

The lyrics humorously celebrate the mouth-watering allure of Krabby Patties while affectionately poking fun at the restaurant’s exorbitant prices, tiny portions, and greasy atmosphere. The catchy tune remains an enduring fan favorite among cartoon enthusiasts worldwide.

Original English Lyrics: “Oh! Krusty Krab”

Oh, Krusty Krab, Oh, Krusty Krab,
Oh, how I love you, Krusty Krab.
Your Krabby Patties from the grill,
The smell of grease gives me a thrill.
Oh, Krusty Krab, Oh, Krusty Krab,
Oh, how I love you, Krusty Krab.
With prices high and portions small,
Their stains of mustard on the wall.
Oh, Krusty Krab, Oh, Krusty Krab,
Oh, how I love you, Krusty Krab.
Mhh mhhh mmmh
Oh, Krusty Krab, Oh, Krusty Krab,
Oh, how I love you, Krusty Krab.
Oh, Krusty Krab, oh, Krusty Krab,
Oh, how I love you, Krusty Krab.
Mhhh mhhh mmmhh
Oh Krusty Krab, you’ve always been there for me
When I’m tired and hungry, I just reach out my hand and there you are,
With a Krabby Patty that is so hot and juicy.
