The Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of the Republic of China has set the Year 110 of the Republic of China (2021) administrative agency office calendar, and the number sequence 37343433 appeared, representing the number of days of consecutive holidays in each month of the Year of the Ox. In other words, in Year 110, people in Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu have a total of 7 consecutive holidays of at least three days to enjoy to the fullest.
II. Analysis of Public Opinion on Consecutive Holiday Arrangements

Office and holiday calendar of the Republic of China for Year 110 (2021) (Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu)
The longest holiday this year is still the 7-day Lunar New Year Spring Festival holiday, matching the 109th year (2020) Spring Festival at seven days. However, compared to last year when the holiday started very early in January, this year it is in the more normal early February. In addition, if you can take two consecutive days off on February 8 and 9, you can connect to the New Year holiday and enjoy an eleven-day holiday.
In the administrative agency office calendar officially released by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan of the Republic of China, we can find that the total number of holidays in the entire 365 days of Year 110 of the Republic of China (2021) reaches as many as 114 days.
This year, the total number of consecutive holidays of three days or more reaches 8, one more group than last year (the year-end New Year’s Eve). Among them, apart from the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, only Children’s Day and National Tomb Sweeping Day (Tomb Sweeping Day, Children’s Day) and the Mid-Autumn Festival have consecutive holidays as long as four days.
In the analysis of the month with the most holidays, apart from February, which reaches 12 holiday days for the whole month due to the longer Spring Festival holiday, the only other month with a longer holiday is October, which has a total of 11 holiday days because of the Republic of China National Day (October 10) and it being a long month, making it a relatively leisurely month.
As for friends who want to take super-long holidays by requesting leave from their company, they may be disappointed. Apart from the Lunar New Year in February, even the week of the Mid-Autumn Festival requires taking three days off to possibly span a whole week. Those who want to challenge the limit of their supervisor’s eye-rolling can try taking four consecutive days off in March, April, June, October, and December.
The editor suggests everyone arrange their Lunar New Year spring holiday travel as early as possible, otherwise you will not be able to buy plane tickets and can only watch others travel everywhere on Facebook (is it too early to be thinking about holidays now). I hope everyone can make good use of these consecutive holidays for various commemorative days and festivals, so that you can enjoy life more amid your tight and busy work.

The editor reminds everyone that this holiday schedule is based on the official annual calendar for civil servants, and only arranges make-up holidays for “commemorative days” and “major folk festivals.” For example, in 2016, Labor Day (May 1) happened to be a Sunday, so there was no make-up holiday. Therefore, the actual holiday schedule should still be based on each company’s or business’s own schedule.
