Recently, because I used a rescue file, I rebuilt a LiteSpeed server using the CyberPanel control panel as the interface on a brand-new Linux server. Since the network address (IP Address) was also replaced, the server’s system needed some changes to operate normally. Below is a record of which settings were changed, for fellow enthusiasts’ reference.

Server Default IP Address

After opening the CyberPanel control panel, the default “server IP address” still shows the old data.

We need to manually modify the file ourselves to replace the outdated IP:

sudo nano /etc/cyberpanel/machineIP

The “PHP SH: 1: SUDO:: NOT FOUND” Error Message

In the website list in the CyberPanel interface, all created websites are displayed. But after creating a new server, the error message “PHP SH: 1: SUDO:: NOT FOUND” may appear;

In addition, when executing commands in Linux, the error prompt “sudo: unable to resolve host ServerName: Name or service not known” may also appear.

This is because when I rebuilt the virtual machine, I used a new name, causing the original system’s outdated information to fail to correspond, and thus the host could not be resolved correctly.

Therefore, we need to modify the following file and replace the old hostname with the new one.

sudo nano /etc/hosts

Add or modify the following content in the /etc/hosts file:

127.0.1.1 NewServerName

Other Notes

Update firewall settings: The new IP address may require updating firewall settings to ensure correct inbound and outbound traffic control.

SSL certificate update: If an SSL certificate related to the IP address is used, make sure to update the certificate or regenerate it to match the new IP address.
