Camera

  • “Camera Control” can quickly switch to the front TrueDepth camera (iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max)
  • The new “Spatial” camera mode offers the ability to capture spatial photos and spatial videos (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max)

AirPods

  • The “Hearing Test” feature provides scientifically validated hearing test results in the comfort of your home (for users aged 18 and over)
  • The “Hearing Aid” feature provides personalized, clinical-grade assistance that is automatically applied to sounds in your environment as well as music, videos, and calls (for users aged 18 and over with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss)

This update also includes the following improvements and bug fixes:

  • “Control Center” adds the option to add connectivity controls and reset settings individually
  • “RCS Business Messaging” lets you contact businesses via RCS (requires carrier support)
  • Fixed an issue where unplayed episodes in Podcasts were marked as played
  • Fixed an issue where dragging to play a video recorded in 4K 60 in “Photos” could stutter when the device is warm
  • Fixed an issue where digital car keys could not unlock or start the vehicle with keyless entry after restoring from a backup or transferring directly from another iPhone
  • Fixed an issue where iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro models could unexpectedly restart
