Today’s sunset was beautiful, big and red, like the yolk of a large goose egg; but this was not yet the best sunset, because the clouds and mist over the sea destined that the moment the sun sank below the horizon, we who waited would have no chance to see it.

Fortunately the author still managed to capture this sunny girl. From spotting the girl and the sunlight to pulling out the point-and-shoot camera to shoot, only about ten seconds passed, and then the camera was quickly stuffed back into the pocket — this must be the instinct of a candid street photographer.

It is just a pity that the girl in the image is a little hunched, so the candid shot is not very good (what a pushy fellow).

As the time drew closer to evening, scenes like the one below could be seen everywhere along the Tamsui riverbank — everyone concentrating as they raised their cameras to shoot their ideal sunset photo, not minding in the least even if someone was taking candid shots. Probably only a few like me would shoot with their backs to the sunset.
