Japan’s Mos Burger has launched a limited-time new product in collaboration with DASSAI, the brand under renowned sake brewer Asahi Shuzo: a limited-quantity, zero-alcohol Dassai milkshake that has driven many food lovers who still can’t travel to Japan into a frenzy.

According to Mos Burger’s official description, this collaborative Dassai milkshake is based on the rice koji used by Asahi Shuzo to make “Dassai Amazake,” combining its aromatic, refreshingly sweet flavor with Mos Burger’s vanilla milkshake to create a uniquely sweet and fragrant drink. It is zero-alcohol, and its refreshing taste makes it easy to enjoy even for children or those who don’t drink.

The warm, mellow tones shown in the photo convey Mos Burger’s consistent fresh product style, and the sake aroma settling at the bottom blending with the milkshake as you stir makes you genuinely curious what kind of impact flavor will erupt. I hope that with the start of COVID-19 vaccinations, we’ll have a chance to travel to Japan before February and enjoy this mysterious sake-flavored sweet milkshake!
