Many things have happened in the cryptocurrency market recently. These include the bankruptcy of Silicon Valley Bank, rumored to be because it was involved in the virtual currency market; the First Republic Bank of the USA also broke out in a liquidity crisis, and so on.
According to Paul Grewal, the Chief Legal Officer of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase1, on the 14th, US regulators are planning to crack down on cryptocurrency, and they have requested that the SEC formulate regulations for the listing of digital asset securities.
But so far, the US government has not given any response, making people worry about whether the government is preparing an action to crack down on the cryptocurrency market.
In fact, any small spark or sign of change is worth our close attention, because they may ultimately become a raging fire. Not only the major market events mentioned above, but today the author unexpectedly discovered that one of his own Coinbase accounts had actually been blocked and closed without warning (please refer to the figure below).
Coinbase: You are currently blocked.
Although it is an account with a balance of 0 that is not used very often, what if someone has already made heavy use of it for NFT creation, printing on stickers, or promotional materials? Although they all look like accounts that are not in use, many people probably still hold expectations for them, right?
Based on the current operation, it seems that Coinbase has no intention of letting people restore blocked accounts in a normal way. It only says that if you have a problem, please contact us. It does not even give you a contact address; you have to find it yourself.
If you are also a Coinbase user and do not use it very often, we suggest you still go back and visit from time to time when you have time, and you can even do a quiz to get activity rewards. The rewards are actually quite substantial, enough to buy a few tea eggs.
