Domestic low-cost carrier V Air has launched another new wave of winter ticket discounts during the summer vacation. As long as you book tickets now for between November this year and March next year (2016), you can get super-discounted prices. From Taoyuan Airport to Bangkok or Chiang Mai in Thailand, the lowest fare is just NT$888.
V Air stated that because many bear fans have been asking about when next year’s (2016) tickets go on sale, V Air announced that from now on it is officially selling Thailand tickets for January to March 2016. At the same time, before July 17, it is launching a limited-time “Bear Buys Early” discount activity. For tickets between January and March next year, the lowest one-way fare can reach NT$888 (excluding airport taxes and handling fees), which is already quite close to V Air’s 520 super-special ticket at its launch. Mizuc believes this price is already the most favorable choice for Taiwanese flying to Thailand, apart from the special treatment only available at launch.
In addition, in this wave of discount activities, besides the NT$888 tickets between January and March, V Air also offers a lowest discount of “NT$1,268” for November this year (2015) and “NT$1,068” for December. This wave of discounts is all for winter flights, quite suitable for friends who love to travel but don’t want to get tanned black in summer, or who fear Taiwan is too cold and want to go to Thailand to escape the winter.

Since Thailand’s prices are quite cheap, even adding the ticket cost, it is definitely more cost-effective than playing in Taiwan (domestic hotels almost all start at NT$2,000, while Thailand is NT$300).
